Example 6 – Barn roof

The roof was completely replaced, including all wood and tiles onto the existing masonry. Exposed close-fit boarding was then fitted which remained visible to the inside. The new framework was then covered with a “toothed” under-tile, topped with salvage canal tiles, with zinc guttering and drainpipes completing the finish.
